De Plancius is een ijsversterkte expeditieschip, ideaal voor reizen in het noordpoolgebied en Antarctica. Het schip biedt reizen in expeditiestijl, met een geweldig educatief en verkennend programma.
Hoewel het geen luxe schip is, is de Plancius comfortabel en mooi ingericht. Zowel de observatielounge als het restaurant zijn onlangs gerenoveerd met volledig nieuw meubilair en nieuwe afwerkingen. Plancius heeft een warme en gastvrije sfeer en is de perfecte ontmoetingsplaats voor alleenreizenden. Met verschillende opties voor gedeelde accommodatie en diners met open zitplaatsen, zult u snel uw mede-expeditieleden en expeditieteamleden leren kennen. Ze hebben een mooi tweepersoonsbed, twee ramen, een bank, bureau met stoel, een eigen badkamer en veel bergruimte. Je vindt in deze hutten ook een koelkast, een koffie- en theezetapparaat, een kluisje en een haardroger.

Er zijn slechts twee Twin Deluxe hutten aan boord van Plancius. Ze bevinden zich op dek 4, op het achterschip, bieden uitzicht in twee richtingen en zijn iets ruimer dan de standaard tweepersoonshutten.

Voor degenen die op zoek zijn naar avontuurlijke poolactiviteiten, biedt de Plancius een groot aantal manieren om op een actieve manier te ontdekken en te genieten.
