Our Whale Watching Expeditions are designed for those who want to have the best chances for seeing whales in their natural habitat. On these special Whale Expeditions, the whales are our number one priority. We offer expeditions on board small ships and land-based whale expeditions. During our Whale Expeditions, you might even get a chance to go snorkeling!
Whale Watching & Snorkeling in Norway
Winter is the ultimate time to go whale watching in Northern Norway! From the end of October until mid-January we operate our signature whale expeditions Winter Whales of Norway. In addition to incredible whale watching from the ship, you will have the opportunity to go snorkeling with whales and orcas and see their actions under water! Snorkeling is not mandatory, you are welcome to join the zodiac for up-close whale encounters and wonderful photography right on the water surface. On previous voyages in Northern Norway, we have encountered many humpback whales and orcas, as well as minke whales, sperm whales, fin whales and pilot whales.
Whale Watching & Snorkeling in Tonga
Between August and October, large numbers of humpback whales come to the archipelago of Tonga in the Pacific Ocean. A unique spectacle of epic proportions, giving us a chance to carefully observe these gentle giants in tropical waters. During these whale expeditions in Tonga, you will stay in a nice accommodation on land and spend at least 7 days out on the water with the whales. You will have the option to go snorkeling with them, or to watch the whales from the boat.
Responsible Whale Watching
Whales have a special place in our hearts. It is our goal to ensure safe and responsible whale watching tours. Therefore, we work together with certified companies, expert guides and an experienced crew. Participants will receive clear whale watching guidelines and safety instructions during the trip. We will also provide lectures so that our guests will not only see the whales, but will also learn more about them and their environment. Please note, we don’t offer scuba diving on our whale watching voyages in order not to disturb the animals.

Prior to Embarkation
