Completely renovated luxury expedition ship
Vikingfjord is a luxury expedition ship for 12 guests, with great environmental credentials and an ice strengthened hull for exploring the polar regions. It has recently been renovated to reduce its impact on the environment and the interior has been completely redesigned.
The refurbished polar vessel is one of the most environmentally friendly small ships sailing in the Arctic today. You can enjoy freshly prepared meals in the restaurant on deck 1. The open plan observation lounge on deck 2, with its’ large rear facing windows, is the heart of the ship. It has tables and chairs, and comfortable sofas for all guests to sit and enjoy the polar scenery. The lounge is also a place to chat with fellow expeditioners, listen to our expedition guides’ presentations or go through your photos of the day while enjoying a nice drink from the bar. For those looking to heat up after a long day out in the cold, the jacuzzi and sauna are at your disposal.
With its’ new and light Scandinavian design interior, Vikingfjord offers great comfort on a small ship. On board you’ll find 6 double cabins and 2 dedicated single cabins, each with their own ensuite bathroom and windows.
