M/S Stockholm offers a cosy home away from home, as she is a well-known and well-loved piece of Scandinavian maritime history. Designed to accommodate 12 guests, alongside 2 guides, and 7 Swedish crewmembers, an expedition onboard M/S Stockholm offers an intimate experience with the Arctic wilderness; a unique offering hard to find elsewhere.
M/S Stockholm was built in 1953, in a Swedish shipyard, starting off her career under the Swedish National Maritime Administration. After her time as a service vessel, she went through a complete refit and her new expedition career in the Arctic began in 1998. Her transition to an expedition vessel focused on guest comfort, both in terms of personal service and atmosphere. With beautiful brass details, spacious pine wooden outside decks, and traditional style cabins, she is a great platform for photography and in-depth exploration.

Outdoor Deck Space
For photographers and filmmakers, the outer deck space is an obvious advantage of M/S Stockholm. Getting low to the water line and having space to move about the vessel are contribte to the popularity of this vessel in the Arctic regions.
