Ship
Greg Mortimer
The first X-bow expedition cruise ship
Greg Mortimer was the first expedition vessel to utilise the unique X-BOW design, introducing a new era in small ship cruises in the polar regions. The latest advancements in naval design & technology allow for smoother and faster sailing, while at the same time protecting the vulnerable marine environment using a virtual anchoring system.
While sailing in the polar regions, you want to feel as close to nature as possible. Greg Mortimer’s two hydraulic platforms, placed on either side of the ship, offer you just that. These platforms can be lowered while the ship is at anchor, offering you an incredible view of your surroundings. Other great features on board Greg Mortimer are the four sea-level zodiac loading decks & activity platform. Shore excursions are made easier and boarding the zodiacs will go faster, allowing for more time exploring on land.

Why we love the Greg Mortimer
- Smooth sailing
- Hydraulic viewing platforms
- Glass railing observation decks
- Lots of add-on activities
