MS Spitsbergen is vernoemd naar het kroonjuweel van Arctisch Noorwegen - de Svalbard archipel met als grootste eiland, Spitsbergen. Het recent gerenoveerde expeditieschip neemt u mee op reizen ver weg van de gebaande paden. De grootte en behendigheid van MS Spitsbergen zorgen ervoor dat u dichtbij de natuurlijke én culturele wonderen van uw bestemming kan komen. MS Spitsbergen is dan ook een ideaal schip om voor een expeditiecruise naar het noordpoolgebied
Aan boord vindt u een twee restaurants, een bar, een sauna en hot tub, een fitnessruimte en verschillende loungeruimtes zowel binnen als buiten aan dek.
Het Citizen Science programma biedt gasten de mogelijkheid om tijdens de reis mee te werken aan actueel wetenschappelijk onderzoek. Het gebruik van het Science Center van het schip, dat ook een uitgebreide bibliotheek en geavanceerde biologische en geologische microscopen heeft, is inbegrepen in uw reis. Daarnaast worden tijdens de expedities ook presentaties gegeven en zijn er wetenschappelijke programma's om te volgen. Op die manier krijgt uw reis een extra dimensie!

Expedition Suite
Our Expedition suites are the most luxurious cabins on the ship. Situated on the upper deck of the ship, the cabins feature seating areas with TV, bathrooms with shower/WC, and all with double beds. Some of the suites have more facilities than others.

Artic Superior
Relaxation and comfort are the hallmarks of our Arctic superior cabins. Situated on both the upper and middle decks, the cabins all have double beds, bathrooms with shower and WC. They are also equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities. All the cabins have individual specifications.

Polar Inside
Our cosy Polar Inside cabins can be found on all decks. All cabins include bathrooms with shower/WC. Most of the cabins have double beds, while some are equipped with separate beds where one doubles as a sofa or upper and lower berths. All the cabins have individual specifications.

Our Polar outside cabins are situated mostly on the middle or lower decks and all have bathrooms with shower/WC. Most have double beds, while others offer separate beds (one of which is a sofa bed) or upper berths. All the cabins have individual specifications.
